MEMBERSHIP REQUIRMENTS

To join the Space Coast Chapter one must accumulate 15 points from the different chapter designations:  C = 10 points, HC = 8, FS = 8, DX = 8, All Others = 5


UPGRADES

Upgrades for the chapter are as follows:

  • 5 points for every 20 unique contacts.
  • 1 point for each of these seals collected:
    • Co-pilot
    • Pilot
    • Commander
    • Astronaut
    • Engineer
    • Controller
    • VP
    • Trawler
    • Endeavor
    • Supreme Master
    • WAS
  • Collectible limits for the seals – Co-Pilot thru Astronaut, 150; Engineer thru VP, 100; Trawler thru Supreme Master, 50; WAS, no limit.
  • 2 points for each of these seals collected:  Project Manager; Space Station
  • Points will be awarded for points collected as follows:
    • 1 point per 100 for on air point value 1-500
    • 1 point per 200 for on air point value 501-2000
    • 1 point per 300 for on air point value 2001-3000
    • 1 point per 500 for on air point value 3001 +
  • (Collected points left from an upgrade will be added in on the next upgrade)
  • A collectible special worth 1 point will be handed out at each convention and each will be collectible until the next convention.
  • The completion of the Worked All States will be awarded 25 points.  Three wild cards, multiples of 50 (50, 100, etc.), may be used.
  • Worksheets will be initiated ever so often re space/universe and the points awarded will depend upon the degree of difficulty of completing the worksheet.

Seals:

Seals will be awarded as follows:
Co-pilot at 50 on-air point value
Pilot at 100
Commander at 150
Astronaut at 200
Engineer at 300
Controller at 400
VP at 500
Trawler at 650
Endeavor at 800
Supreme Master at 1000
Project Manager at 2000
Space Station at 3000Points: A member’s point value will be increased through the collection of points as follows:

  1. 1 point for every 100 until point value of 500
  2. 1 point for every 200 until point value of 2000
  3. 1 point for every 300 until point value of 3000
  4. 1 point for every 500 after point value of 3000

Points will also be awarded for successful completion of worksheets and/or specials which the Space Coast Chapter may offer.

SEALS
Seals will be awarded as follows:

  • Co-pilot at 50 on-air point value
  • Pilot at 100
  • Commander at 150
  • Astronaut at 200
  • Engineer at 300
  • Controller at 400
  • VP at 500
  • Trawler at 650
  • Endeavor at 800
  • Supreme Master at 1000
  • Project Manager at 2000
  • Space Station at 3000

A seal will be issued at each of the conventions and will be collectible, at 1 point each, until the next convention.
